Citadel Season 2 Is Now Streaming on Prime Video — All Seven Episodes Drop at Once

Citadel Season 2 is now available to stream in full on Prime Video. All seven episodes of the high-stakes spy thriller dropped simultaneously on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide. The full-season binge release marks a departure from the weekly format used for Season 1, which premiered in April 2023.

The series returns with its central trio: Richard Madden as Mason Kane, Priyanka Chopra Jonas as Nadia Sinh, and Stanley Tucci as Bernard Orlick — elite operatives of the legendary intelligence agency Citadel, which was destroyed by Manticore, a ruthless syndicate backed by the world’s most powerful families. Season 2 finds the three agents facing a terrifying new threat that pulls them back into action. Forced to recruit an unlikely team of new operatives and launch a globe-spanning mission, the stakes have never been higher — and anyone could be friend or foe.

New cast members joining the season include Jack Reynor, Matt Berry, and Lina El Arabi. The expanded ensemble is expected to play a significant role in the globe-spanning mission at the heart of Season 2’s storyline.

Citadel is produced by Amazon MGM Studios in collaboration with the Russo Brothers’ production company AGBO. Anthony Russo, Angela Russo-Otstot, and Scott Nemes executive produce for AGBO, with David Weil serving as showrunner, director, and executive producer. Joe Russo and Greg Yaitanes also directed episodes in addition to serving as executive producers. Josh Appelbaum, André Nemec, Jeff Pinkner, and Scott Rosenberg serve as executive producers for Midnight Radio.

The first season of Citadel, which carried a reported production budget of approximately $300 million across six episodes, became one of the most expensive television series ever produced. Despite mixed critical reception — the season holds a 52% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes — Prime Video renewed the series for a second season in March 2023. Two planned international spinoffs, Citadel: Diana (Italian) and Citadel: Honey Bunny (Indian), were subsequently developed and later canceled, leaving the flagship series as the sole ongoing Citadel property heading into Season 2.

Season 2 represents a significant moment for Prime Video’s investment in the franchise and a direct test of whether the show can build on its first-season audience base. With all episodes available for immediate binge-watching, Prime Video is positioning the season as a high-profile streaming event for the month of May.
