Jayson Tatum’s Next Jordan Sneaker Might Have Surfaced Inside NBA 2K26

Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum has been sidelined since suffering a devastating Achilles tendon rupture against the New York Knicks in last year’s Eastern Conference Playoffs. That injury ended Boston’s title pursuit and cast doubt on Tatum’s availability for the entire 2025–26 season. While fans may not see him on the court anytime soon, his sneaker line with Jordan Brand appears to be moving forward regardless.

There has been no official announcement about the Jordan Tatum 4, yet sharp-eyed players of NBA 2K26 may have spotted it early. The newest installment of the franchise launches September 5, but some early access gameplay already shows Tatum’s in-game avatar wearing sneakers that have not been released before.

The Instagram account @tatumkicks shared close-up images of what they believe is the Jordan Tatum 4. The model looks familiar in shape, carrying over the sleek build of its predecessor, while presenting a fresh black, red, and white color scheme.

Thanks to the lifelike visuals of NBA 2K26, fans can see plenty of detail: a herringbone traction pattern underfoot, a large “0” emblazoned on the heel, and discreet Jumpman logos across the shoe.

Meanwhile, Tatum has ditched his walking boot and begun the long road of recovery. Coming back from an Achilles rupture is among the toughest challenges an athlete can endure, and his return to the court this season still seems doubtful.

Even if Tatum never suits up during the 2025–26 campaign, his fourth signature sneaker is expected to release. In that case, Jordan Brand will almost certainly tap one of its other NBA or collegiate athletes to introduce the model to the hardwood.

For now, fans can continue to find earlier editions of the Jordan Tatum line marked down in certain styles on Nike’s official site. Known for reliable performance features and attractive colorways, the series has carved out a loyal following among both players and collectors.
