The Melania jokes and the bruised hand material connected just as sharply. Kimmel pointed out that Trump had arrived at the UFC event with what appeared to be a severely bruised hand, covered with what Kimmel described as a layer of spackle, a line that spread instantly across social media as a standalone clip.
