Paramount+ Drops Full Dutton Ranch Trailer as May 15 Premiere Approaches for Yellowstone Sequel

Paramount+ released the full official trailer for Dutton Ranch, the direct sequel spinoff to the landmark series Yellowstone, on May 5, 2026. The nearly two-minute trailer offers the most comprehensive look yet at the nine-episode first season, which premieres with two back-to-back episodes on Friday, May 15, 2026, simultaneously on Paramount+ and the Paramount Network at 8 p.m. ET/PT. New episodes will be released weekly on Fridays through the season finale, scheduled for July 3, 2026.

Dutton Ranch picks up after the events of the Yellowstone series finale, following Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler as they relocate from Montana to a 7,000-acre ranch in Rio Paloma, South Texas. The series is described in its official logline as a story of Beth and Rip fighting to build a future together — far from the ghosts of Yellowstone — only to collide with brutal new realities and a ruthless rival ranch that will stop at nothing to protect its empire.

Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser reprise their roles as Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler, respectively, with Finn Little returning as their ward, Carter. The trailer shows Rip discovering a dead body on their new property, drawing the couple into direct and dangerous conflict with Beulah Jackson, played by Oscar nominee Annette Bening. Bening, making her entry into the Yellowstone universe, portrays the powerful and cunning head of a major Texas ranch whose interests immediately clash with those of the newly arrived Duttons. Ed Harris joins the cast as Everett McKinney, a weathered war veteran and local veterinarian. Jai Courtney plays Rob-Will, described as an unpredictable ranch foreman. J.R. Villarreal, Marc Menchaca, Natalie Alyn Lind, and Juan Pablo Raba round out the supporting cast.

The series is based on characters created by Taylor Sheridan and John Linson, both of whom serve as executive producers. Chad Feehan serves as creator, executive producer, and showrunner for the first season. Director and cinematographer Christina Alexandra Voros, a key creative collaborator from Yellowstone, executive produces and directed multiple episodes including the premiere and the season finale. Additional directors include Greg Yaitanes, Jessica Lowrey, and Phil Abraham. Paramount Television Studios and 101 Studios produce.

Dutton Ranch represents the second direct Yellowstone spinoff to air in 2026, following Marshals on CBS, which follows Beth’s brother Kayce Dutton, played by Luke Grimes, and has already been renewed for a second season. Dutton Ranch unlike Marshals, will air on both Paramount Network and stream on Paramount+ on the same day, ensuring simultaneous access for cable and streaming subscribers.
